Just recently, at the end of August 2019, the Ministry of Finance has strongly reminded the Tax Authority to further push up tax inspection on companies with high tax risks. Local tax authorities have been motivated to implement many solutions to increase effectiveness and efficiency of tax inspection such as applying modern technology and using effective risk-assessment method… As a result, recently many companies have been subject to huge amounts of additional tax and tax penalties due to tax violation and late payment which could have been softened if be well alert in advance. Crowe Vietnam’s tax experts wish to provide the most updates on this issue and share their practical experience and expertise so as to help to minimize tax risks for Korean companies in the future.
