Supporting interfaces and systems
sFTP / API / PECI interfaces
Global PayConnect™ can accommodate payroll data being transferred via sFTP / API interfaces or Workdays PECI (Payroll Effective Change Interface), which define the transfer and file upload process between your HRIS / HRM and the Global PayConnect™ platform. These interfaces support PGP encryption and SSH authentication to ensure safe and secure data provision for payroll processing.
Integration files can be produced to communicate:
- Payroll and pay period data - Variable pre-processing data, eg bonuses and commissions.
- Date effective pay data - Permanent pre-processing data, eg car and telephone allowances
- This pay period employee changes – New employee records, including start date, personal reference data and changes to employment for existing employees
- Date effective employee changes - Salary, address and bank details.

ICP payroll system
Pre-processing file output is tailored to our local In Country Partners (ICP) payroll systems, ensuring provision of the relevant data to process your payroll accurately. Payroll data is transferred within the Global PayConnect™ platform ensuring safe storage and secure movement of information throughout the payroll process.
- Local gross to net payroll system output is used to populate the post processing data reservoir, ensuring minimal touch points and allowing report driven payroll data checking.
- Global PayConnects™ centralised data source allows for payroll reporting to be generated and shared via the platform to support payroll review and sign off.
- Local payslips can be shared via the Employee Self-Service Portal (ESSP) or fed back to Workday if required.
- GL Journals are produced directly from the payroll data source received from our ICP and can be tailored to a client’s finance system for direct uploads.
