Chantelle
Since joining us earlier this summer as an Intern, Chantelle has put her expertise to good use as she graduated from Northumbria University in Economics and Finance in September and has quickly become an valued member of the team at Crowe.

Miss Ncube, commenting on her new role, she says:

"I am delighted that I’m kick-starting my professional career here at Crowe - it’s been smooth sailing ever since I joined as an intern. I have had many opportunities since graduating from university, but I chose Crowe because they have an open and inclusive culture which has given me the confidence to tackle challenges and exploring new opportunities in the world of tax!"

Chantelle’s experiences reflect our commitment to supporting the 10,000 Interns Foundation over the last three years. We help interns in their development by providing a minimum of six-weeks paid employment, which includes an exciting programme of learning and the responsibility of supporting teams across its service offerings in a professional environment, and a dedicated mentor from the partnership team.

Miss Ncube added: “My experiences have deepened my commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace. The Foundation and Crowe have made me feel comfortable and accepted without being judged because of my background, name or as a black woman. I am delighted I am helping change the face of the corporate world.”

We join over 700 other participating organisations each year to offer people the opportunity to work in finance, technology and advertising and many other sectors. In total, the foundation has helped 5,000 individuals into paid internships since establishing as a non-profit organisation in 2020.

Michael JaysonMichael Jayson, Office Managing Partner, Manchester, added:

“At Crowe, we strive to create a truly inclusive organisation that celebrates the benefits that having a diverse team brings us. So, we are delighted to see Chantelle excel and welcome her as a permanent member of the team in Manchester. Her contributions during her internship were invaluable, and so we are excited to see her grow and prosper in her new role.”

“I am delighted Chantelle has laid down her professional foundations at Crowe. It shows the benefit of working closely with organisations like the 10,000 Interns Foundation to find emerging talent for the future.

“Crowe’s environment helps people flourish and achieve their potential, while at the same time recognising their contributions and adding value regardless of their race, ethnicity or the cultural heritage. Accountancy is a fantastic profession with great opportunities to earn a fulfilling career. I wish Chantelle every success.”
