Crowe UK appoints digital transformation veteran as COO

Crowe UK is delighted to welcome Roger Walker to the firm as Chief Operating Officer (COO). The digital transformation veteran was, until recently, Head of Technology Transformation at the Bank of England. He has also held strategic transformation roles such as COO & Bid Director for the recent National Lottery bid, Transformation Programme Director at NatWest Group (RBS) and COO at UBS Investment Bank. 

A dynamic technology and operations leader with a proven track record in driving strategic transformation, Roger will take on responsibility for building value and enhancing operational efficiency, leading Crowe UK’s Operations Board. 

Roger’s rich experience will add significant value to Crowe’s leadership team, helping to drive sustainable growth for the firm and playing a critical role in implementing business strategy.

Roger has a wealth of experience in effecting complex, enterprise-wide transformations. In his COO and transformation-focused roles, he has led business turnarounds, restructures, and the design and delivery of new strategies. In addition to his corporate experience, he has served as a cybersecurity advisor to the UK government and is a former British Army officer, having retired at the rank of Major after 11 years of distinguished military service.

Roger arrives with first-hand experience of the firm’s culture, having previously worked at Crowe from 2016 to 2017 as a Global Risk Consultant.
