With more than 23 years of experience, Jayne joins Crowe from a leading independent accounting firm, where she was Head of Charities for four years. Prior to that, Jayne spent more than 19 years in the National Charities and Not for Profit team of a Big Four firm.

Having worked closely with leading charitable groups such as the NSPCC, Royal British Legion and British Red Cross, as well as a number of FCA authorised and regulated clients, Jayne has a breadth of experience adding value to clients through due diligence work, advisory action, governance and training advice and benchmarking services.

Jayne is also a Trustee of CBM UK, the overseas Christian disability charity, and was a member of the ICAEW Charity Committee. Alongside this work, Jayne is also responsible for the establishment of the Charity Leaders Group in Cambridge, which provides a forum for charity Trustees and senior management to discuss key issues facing the sector.

Crowe’s commitment to its Social Purpose and Non Profits team is central to the firm’s growth strategy. In December last year, Crowe was named top charity auditor for the 14th successive year in Civil Society’s Charity Finance Audit Survey for 2022 and Jayne’s appointment further demonstrates the firm’s long-standing dedication to the sector.

Naziar Hashemi, Head of Social Purpose and Non Profits at Crowe, comments:

“In these challenging economic times, it is imperative that auditors have a deep understanding of their sectors in order to deliver quality work. Jayne’s breadth and depth of experience will only expand our already-accomplished team’s success in maximising charities’ impact for their stakeholders and beneficiaries.”

Jayne Rowe, partner, comments:

“The impact of the ongoing economic uncertainty on charities – and those they support – cannot be underestimated. I am thrilled to be joining a firm where there is an evident commitment to the continued development of a specialised team dedicated to delivering quality work for clients. I look forward to helping clients navigate the ever-changing regulatory updates and reporting requirements facing the sector in 2023 and beyond.”

Nigel Bostock, Chief Executive at Crowe, says:

“Jayne is a fantastic addition to our award-winning team. With more than 23 years of experience at the heart of the sector, Jayne’s expertise will be crucial in the continued development of a multi-disciplinary Social Purpose and Non Profits team, which now accounts for approximately 20% of the business. Jayne is the second new hire to this team in recent months and will be incredibly valuable in ensuring we continue to successfully assist clients in navigating the turbulent times ahead.”
