Crowe appoints two partners to Corporate Audit team in new Thames Valley office

Key appointments strengthen the firm's partnership as Kate Stent and Matt Daniel’s extensive experience added to the leadership of the Corporate Audit team.

Kate Stent

Kate joins our Thames Valley office with 30 years of experience in Corporate Audit. Having worked on a wide variety of clients from smaller privately owned companies to large subsidiaries of overseas groups, Kate has a wealth of expertise in delivering corporate audits under UK GAAP and IFRS.

She has worked with clients within the services and leisure sectors, sales, and distribution businesses, as well as manufacturing clients in the medical and electrical industries. Kate also has experience working with and supporting the growth of private equity backed businesses.

Her move to Crowe is a significant part of the ongoing growth of our Thames Valley office, which recently relocated to Reading’s prestigious ‘R+’ building, having doubled its business over the last few years, reaffirming its long-term commitment to the region.

Matt Daniels

He joined us back in 2007 and over his tenure has gained extensive experience with both UK GAAP and IFRS clients. He has a wide array of experience working with owner-managed businesses, private equity backed businesses and large international groups.

His appointment as a partner comes at a significant time for us and the Thames Valley office, which has seen substantial growth across all aspects of the business, including audit, tax and financial planning, pension schemes, not for profit clients and professional practices alike.
