Our FraudCast series takes a look at the latest fraud and cybercrime news and trends from across the industry with our Partner and National Head of Forensic Services, Jim Gee.
Each FraudCast will include some commentary on the latest fraud and cybercrime news, an interview with a leading forensics specialist and a discussion about a controversial subject.
In this first episode, of our new monthly FraudCast series, Jim Gee discusses the COVID-19 crisis and the dramatic effect this has had on to the UK economy. With an increase in fraud and cybercrime since the start of the pandemic, Jim offers practical advice on how you can protect your organisation.
For this month’s specialist interview, Jim is joined by Professor Mark Button from the University of Portsmouth’s Centre for Counter Fraud Studies (Europe’s premier research institute in this area) where they undertake research into fraud, cybercrime, bribery and corruption, including the staggering £190 billion cost of fraud and the current surge in fraud and in the UK.
