The successful growth of Crowe UK’s Thames Valley office sees the firm relocate to Reading’s prestigious ‘R+’ building, reaffirming its long-term commitment to the town and the region as a great place to do business.

Crowe UK’s Reading office doubling of its business over the last few years has necessitated the firm to relocate to the bigger 12,567sq. ft workspace on the fifth floor of the ‘R+’ building. The office has seen substantial growth across all aspects of its business including audit, tax, corporate finance, financial planning and business solutions for corporates of all sizes, pension funds, social purpose and not for profits, professional practices and private clients.

Working closely with the developer, Oval, the firm has embarked on a substantial ‘fit-out’ programme with enhanced technology to encourage independent and collaborative working for colleagues and clients. Facilities boast large open workspaces and a spacious 3,000 sq. ft. terrace area.

The relocation to R+ also supports Crowe to deliver on its sustainability commitments as the building includes roof-mounted solar panels, energy efficient LED lighting and an excellent energy efficiency rating, plus using energy from 100% renewable sources. Given its location, the building also promotes sustainable travel by being conveniently situated opposite Reading’s mainline train station as well as having secure bike storage and shower facilities.

Phil Smithyes, Crowe Financial Planning Managing Director says:

"This exciting move for Crowe demonstrates our continued commitment in providing excellent support for our growing client base in the Thames Valley region and creates the best environment from which to drive our business forward for the future.

Securing the large top floor of the prestigious R+ Building creates a more spacious, sustainable and modern workspace allowing our people to thrive, collaborate and meet with clients, while also being conveniently situated opposite the train station in heart of the town centre."
