I have worked in the industry since 2007. Initially working for a big corporation dealing mainly with investment transfers and compliance. I then moved on to a smaller family run business as an office manager, where my role was a lot more varied, I could be drafting recommendation reports for corporate scheme members one day, organising mortgages another and chasing commissions on a third.
I joined Crowe Financial Planning UK Limited in 2013 as the Team Leader for the Client Support team. Back then there were only three of us and I was heavily involved in all the day-to-day tasks that sit with our Client Support team, such as applications, valuations, data maintenance along with supporting our Business Support Manager with our back-office system and development. The experience gained from having my own client bank to look after has allowed me to see where enhancements can be made to our procedures and where support is needed to make the Client Support team even better.
