Kin Meng has over 18 years of experience in corporate and individual tax, including tax advisory work. His work experience covers corporate and individual tax compliance, tax advisory on cross-border taxation matters, projects related to group restructuring, mergers and acquisitions and tax due-diligence.
His experience includes:
- Advising and recommending tax efficient structures by taking into consideration various tax implications arising from the structures.
- Advising expatriates on income tax implications/planning opportunities with respect to both their inbound/outbound deployment from Singapore.
- Assisting clients to apply for tax incentives such as the Global Trader Programme Tax Exemption Schemes for Funds.
- Advising on mergers and acquisitions and performed tax due diligence for various multi-national group of companies.
- Assisting clients in the fund management industry to structure their fund operations which could be based in Singapore or offshore, outside of Singapore.
- Assisting clients with tax audits by tax authorities.
Kin Meng is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ISCA). Kin Meng is also an accredited Tax Practitioner (Corporate Tax) of the Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals.
He holds an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Qualification.
