Yan Huei has more than 25 years of experience in professional services, which include audit and technical research. Other than client servicing, she is also part of the Technical and Training Department in Crowe Singapore, playing a key role in enhancing the technical competency of our people, providing technical consultation, and monitoring the audit quality.
Her experience includes:
Leading and managing statutory and special audit/IPO/financial due diligence engagements of listed companies, multi-national companies and private entities in Crowe Singapore, another mid-sized firm and a Big 4 firm.
- Providing professional advice to clients on group restructuring, profit and cash flow forecasts and pro forma consolidated accounts.
- Performing due diligence and profit forecast reviews in connection with mergers and acquisitions.
- Providing technical consultation of auditing, accounting standards and code of ethics.
- Preparing training materials and conducting training for auditing and accounting topics, include new FRSs.
- Performing internal and international quality assurance reviews.
- Reviewing of draft financial statements and audit opinion of listed clients.
Yan Huei is a Practising Member and Chartered Accountant of Singapore, with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
She is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
Yan Huei holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Major in Accountancy) Degree conferred by RMIT University, Australia.
