Ser Miang has over 25 years of experience in the finance industry, ranging from central banking, sell-side equity analyst, business consulting and corporate finance services. Over the years, he has managed numerous cross border IPOs and M&A projects to a broad range of clients including healthcare, financial institutions, technology, manufacturing and agricultural companies.
His current role in Crowe Horwath Capital Pte Ltd is primarily origination and structuring of corporate finance deals, tapping onto his wide network and years of experience in the industry. He is well versed in PRC business and travels regularly to the PRC for marketing. Ser Miang is also currently sitting on the board of several listed SGX companies as an independent director.
Ser Miang's experience include:
- Securing and management of IPOs and RTOs, corporate advisory, fund raising and M&A transactions.
- Business development and origination of deals in ASEAN and China.
- Assist companies in pre-IPO fund raising and IPO preparations.
- Leading teams to perform due diligence reviews on M&A.
- Led and executed regulated corporate finance activities like share placements, rights issues, general offers and independent financial advisory.
- Assisting PRC companies to restructure for overseas listing and to raise capital in the financial market in Singapore.
- Financial modelling, financial statement analysis and valuation.
- Oversee and maintain high levels of corporate governance in listed companies.
Ser Miang is a member of the CFA Institute and a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA).
He holds a Masters in Global Finance and Banking from King's College, London, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours), conferred by the National University of Singapore.
