Catherine Cheng

Catherine is a Senior Partner at Crowe Singapore with over 30 years of experience in audit and financial consulting services, providing audit services to Multi-National Corporations and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.

Her broad range of clients have been from industries such as advertising, architectural, commodities trading, construction, education institutions, electronics, engineering, entertainment, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, shipping, telecommunication software, trade union, trading and mining companies and travel services.

Catherine also has extensive experience in the United Kingdom, practicing in Public Practice and commercial entities such as the Civil Aviation Authority, export house and manufacturing.

Her experience includes:

• Performing due diligence reviews in connection with mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance exercises;
• Conducting risk controls reviews;
• Advising on systems weaknesses, including corporate governance reviews;
• Conducting fraud investigation reviews;
• Reviewing internal policies for compliance with Major Exporters Scheme and terms of incentive grants;
• Assisting clients in preparation for public listing and providing professional advice on profit and cash flow forecasts;
• Administering schemes of arrangement and providing corporate recovery services; and
• Advising on liquidation.

She is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom and a Practicing Member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA).

Catherine holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance degree from Kingston University, United Kingdom.
