Saad M. Al Azem

Saad joined Crowe International in Riyadh office after over 10 years experience in International Banking and Financial Consulting. 

Saad brought with him to Crowe International in Riyadh Office experience gained in such reputable and world known institutions as International Finance Corporation, the World Bank in Washington DC, Lucent Technologies in New Jersey, USA, Saudi American Bank and Alissa Group in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Saad’s positions held at the above companies included: Investment Officer, Finance Planner and General Manager.

While his seven years service with the World Bank in Washington DC, Saad gained a wide experience in working on new investments in banking, leasing, insurance and privatization in Eastern Europe, Central and East Asia and Middle East. Saad has performed extensive number of due diligence reports, sensitivity analysis; and negotiated local and international legal agreements. In addition, Saad has managed a portfolio (over US $500 million dollars) of six banks, two leasing companies and two insurance institutions in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Middle East.

Saad has attended numerous specialized training courses and seminars, held in USA, Europe and KSA in Banking, Financial Supervision, Leasing, Insurance, Advance Financial Statement Analysis, Corporate Governance and Anti-Money Laundering.

Saad holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from King Saud University and Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and International Management from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management, Arizona, USA. Saad graduated from Thunderbird, AMGSIM with Honors and Alpha Beta Sigma Award for outstanding academic results. Saad is a member of the Saudi Engineering Committee since 1995.
