The deadline for CIT returns extended until 30 June 2021
The Ministry of Finance has issued an announcement on its website about the extension of the deadline for the settlement of CIT.

According to it, there are currently intensive works carried out on the regulation and the Act on excise tax and some other acts, which allow for the extension of the deadline for the annual CIT return. The deadline is to be extended until June 30, 2021.

Let us remind that the original deadline for:

  • submitting a return for the amount of income earned (loss incurred) in the tax year which ended between 1 December 2020 and 28 February 2021,
  • payment of the CIT tax due specified in the return,

expires on March 31, 2021.

This deadline will be extended until 30 June 2021, according to the draft bill under construction. However, due to the parliamentary work schedule and the fear that the legislation may not be enacted on time, a decision on issuing a regulation with identical solutions to the aforementioned bill has been taken.
