Nowadays, RPA (Robotic Process Automation) technology is widely used for repetitive processes and the implementation of robots is an obvious choice for a growing number of companies. However, some employees feel a fear of losing their jobs and, as Patrycja Łomińska, Manager at Crowe, in an interview for PulsHR.pl notes, the implementation of robotisation often meets with unfavourable reactions of employees directly involved in the process being robotised.
Robert Ćwiertnia, an expert on robotic processes in Crowe, in a comment for the portal, adds that these fears are not justified and says - Our experience shows that in most cases the implementation of RPA results in shifting employees to other tasks, less repetitive and requiring an individual, non-standardised approach. These are usually duties which allow employees to use their potential in a better way, develop themselves and, as a result, increase their satisfaction from work.
