‘Polish companies often see ESG only as a statutory obligation. As a result, many of them believe that for them the topic does not apply, or they postpone preparations until reporting becomes mandatory. They do not realise that the lack of sustainability data may lead to the loss of attractive contracts with large companies that already require such information or will soon start to do so’ - explains the CEO of Crowe in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Izabela Kuśmierz-Latała, in a release to the Warsaw Business Journal.
