Commemorating 75 Years of Excellence
On the beautiful evening of Monday, 13th of March 2023, more than 300 Business-Owners and Professionals representing diverse segments of industry joined Crowe Hussain Chaudhury to celebrate its 75th Anniversary at the Royal Palm Golf and Country Club, Lahore.
Mr. Abdul Razak Dawood, Founder of Descon Group of Companies graced the celebration event as Chief Guest. Mr. Dawood was kind enough to share his invaluable thoughts about Crowe’s remarkable journey and the relationship of trust developed between Descon Group and the Firm over the past 5 decades. He also applauded the efforts of ICAP in promoting gender diversity in the Accountancy profession and Termed Gender Diversity as an investment and not a Liability.
Mr. Yuen Lok Mok, Regional Executive Director, Asia Pacific Region, Crowe Global, was the Guest of Honor. While sharing his thoughts he emphasized the significance of Crowe Global’s value set of Care, Share, Invest and Grow. He also discussed all the initiatives being taken by Crowe as a top Global Audit firms worldwide and the brand investment to remain future ready by adapting new technologies and actively investing in ESG practice around the globe.
Mr. M. Ali Latif, President ICAP, during his address glorified the firm’s rich history and shared his beautiful memories with the firm. He cherished being an alumni of Crowe and mentioned the efforts of M. Hussain Chaudhury (Late) for the profession in general and creation of ICAP in particular.
Dr. Abrar Chaudhury, Managing Partner, in his address recalled the firm’s legacy and also shared his vision for the future. He emphasized the three important pillars that would help in transforming all the efforts of Crowe to build a stronger case for future i.e. Organizational transformation, sustainability and digitization.
Mr. Muhammad Nasir Muneer, Office Managing Partner – Lahore, payed his tribute to the great founders of the firm, M. Hussain Chaudhury (Late) and Saeed Ahmed Chaudhury (Late). He also shed light on the firm’s history and how the firm envisions transforming young leaders into future business leaders through the platform of Crow Hussain Chaudhury.
Mr. Amin Ali, Senior Partner Audit & Assurance expressed his gratitude to all the guests for gracing the celebration event. He reinforced the efforts made by the Founding Partners of Crowe in developing the Profession and how the firm is looking forward to play its role over the years to come.
