Gerald Lau

Gerald is a Partner in the Audit & Assurance division in Crowe Malaysia PLT – Kuala Lumpur office. He has been involved in various audit and assurance engagements, serving a wide range of clients.

Experience

• Gerald started his accountancy career with an international accounting firm in 2005 as an Audit Associate. Gerald rose through the ranks until his last position as an Audit Director before leaving in 2018 to join Crowe Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur Office.
• During the period from 2005 until the time he left, he was directly responsible for the audits of major public-listed companies and multinationals. He was also involved in other audit related services such as agreed upon procedures and limited reviews for various clients.
• Gerald is responsible for the audits of public and private entities, multinationals as well as other special engagements such as limited reviews, agreed upon procedures as well as financial due diligence.
• Gerald also conducts various courses on audit methodology and compliance matters to clients, fellow practitioners and the public.
