Hector is a member of the Instituto de Contadores Públicos de Nuevo León, currently as President of the Board of Directors and formerly as Treasurer, as well as actively participating in various technical committees.
He has participated as a lecturer in international tax forums in the cities of San Francisco, Montreal, Vancouver, Dublin and Buenos Aires. In 1996 he obtained his Master's degree with a specialization in taxes from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León. He has collaborated as a professor in recognized educational institutions; as a guest columnist in the Reforma group and is a member of various boards of directors of national and foreign companies.
