From 1995 to May 1998 he cooperated and advised the president of Sprague Italiana SpA (the Italian sub-holding company of Carlo Gavazzi AG of Zurich), becoming then the Group's controller.
From June 1998 to 2002, he worked for Ernst & Young carrying out internal activities (Corporate) of change management, organization & management, P&C and M&A for the Italian Management of E & Y. He was involved in the implementation of strategic projects defined with the group's top management.
Before leaving E&Y, he was director of operations in Italy. Augusto continued his intense collaboration with the Corporate functions of E&Y also as an external consultant for the following three years.
Starting from 2004, he has been partner of Geb Consulting S.r.l., a "boutique" of management consulting in the field of strategy, governance, P & C and organization, with specific focus on "Digital Transformation". During the said period, he was involved in several M&A projects and in temporary management in various companies mainly operating in the prize games sector.
He has gained significant professional experience, working with some of the major Italian groups in regulated sectors (Insurance, Prize Games), with multinational "private" groups (Food & Beverage, Industrial Goods, Chemicals) and with companies (Italian and foreign) that manage primary football teams.
Since May 2018, he has been Managing Director Crowe Valente Advisory Services.
