Crowe provides support to Terra Solar's Irish solar farm projects

Crowe is delighted to have provided support to Terra Solar in the formation of a partnership with Ørsted. The partnership consists of a portfolio of Irish solar projects with a capacity of up to 400 MW that have the potential to power over 90,000 Irish homes.

Speaking on the partnership, André Fernon, Director at Terra Solar, said: "Terra Solar is delighted to be working in partnership with Ørsted on the development of the solar projects announced today. With a combined capacity of up to 400 MW, this partnership will contribute significantly to Ireland's low-carbon future, strengthen our indigenous energy supply, and ensure competitively priced green electricity for Irish consumers."

Crowe has been working with Terra Solar since 2018, during which time it has become one of the leading solar development companies in Ireland. Terra Solar has partnered with several commercial enterprises and private landowners to identify suitable sites for solar development, successfully bringing sites from planning and grid approval stage through to fully operational solar farms.

This latest transaction follows on from a similar transaction in 2021 with Power Capital Renewable Energy involving 400 MW of solar assets.
