Crowe was delighted to support the Mental Health Commission in the development of its Strategic Plan for 2023-2027, "Supporting Change" (pdf). This was an inclusive and evidence-based process, involving extensive engagement with the Commission's stakeholders. Over 1,300 stakeholder inputs in various formats contributed to the final strategy.
The Strategic Plan was launched on 19 April 2023 with speakers such as Mary Butler TD (Minister for Mental Health and Older People), Dr John Hillery (Chairperson, Mental Health Commission) and John Farrelly (Chief Executive, Mental Health Commission) emphasising the importance of protecting some of the most vulnerable persons in society and the critical role of regulation in upholding human rights.
The Crowe team worked in close collaboration with the Commission to deliver a range of activities to ensure the voice of stakeholders across sectors, agencies, and services were heard, accepted, and recognised. The strategic plan sets out the Commission’s strategic goals and priorities, with their underpinning values, that will influence the delivery of an accessible person-centred, high-quality mental health service and decision support service to all those who need it.
