Crowe appointed to review Garda Síochána Adult Caution Scheme

Crowe has been appointed by the Policing Authority to undertake a review of the Garda Síochána Adult Caution Scheme.

The review is commencing immediately and is due to conclude in early 2020 – the terms of reference published by the Policing Authority can be found here.

The Crowe team will be led by Consulting Partner Shane McQuillan, who directed our previous assignment for the Policing Authority in 2017, when we examined problems regarding discrepancies in the recording of breath tests and the use of fixed penalty notices by the Garda Síochána.
