Crowe advises Dermot Usher on acquisition of Cork City FC

Cork City FC was founded in 1984 and has a rich history of multiple league titles and cup competition championships over the years. The team are looking forward to competing in the top tier in the upcoming season, having won the 2022 League of Ireland first division title.

Commenting on the acquisition of Cork City FC, Dermot Usher highlighted his passion for the Club and growth ahead, "To all the staff in Cork City FC and all the volunteers who provide their time, I can't believe how lucky I am to be part of the team. Great plans are afoot to grow attendance at matches with several events to run, allowing Companies to be part of the Club and provide excellent events for their staff and customers."

Outgoing club chairman, Declan Carey, said "This is a great day for Cork City Football Club. We now have a new owner who has the capability to allow our club to compete where it should be. We are confident that today marks the start of the next positive chapter of the club's history."
