Achieving excellence: lessons from elite sport

Crowe is delighted to welcome UCD RFC, Leinster and Ireland stars Luke McGrath and Hugo Keenan to a live webinar session with our graduate trainee teams. 

This interactive event will be moderated by well-known Irish Independent writer, Rúaidhrí O’Connor. Luke and Hugo will share with Rúaidhrí their experiences from elite sport and the insights that can be applied to our trainees as they embark on their career in professional services.
 
Rúaidhrí will help draw insights on a range of topics including:

• The step up from UCD RFC into the Leinster and Ireland camps
• Time management – balancing career, studies and personal life
• Delivering in a high-performance environment
• Team dynamics and roles
• Goal setting and measuring success
• Resilience and dealing with setbacks

Luke McGrath has earned 19 Ireland caps, having made his debut in November 2016 against Canada. He captained Leinster on a number of occasions and is a former Ireland under-20 captain, while playing for UCD RFC.  

Hugo Keenan made his Ireland debut against Italy in the rescheduled Six Nations in October 2020 and has since earned a total of 6 international caps.
