Kevin Windsor

We take five minutes to have a quick virtual watercooler catch up with Kevin Windsor to find out what he misses about the office and his unusual skills! 

Briefly, tell us about your career to date. 
After college (BSc Accounting & Finance in DIT / TU Dublin), I trained in the Audit department in Crowe. Then, after I completed my ACA exams, I took the opportunity to transfer to the Corporate Finance. I have been in Crowe for six and a half years. 

Why Crowe? 
In my case, I get exposure to a diverse range of clients in a wide range of industries. Alongside this, I get to engage directly with partners which I know I wouldn’t get elsewhere. 

What do you enjoy most about your job? 
I enjoy the interaction with people – both clients and colleagues – on a daily basis. 

Give me three words that describe Crowe’s culture.
Collaborative, connected and autonomous!

What is the best advice you have received and from whom?  
Be thankful for what you have – from my parents.

What’s been the main takeaway from your lockdown experience? 
I never want to continuously work from home again! I took my freedom to move around for granted. 

What have you really missed because of lockdown? 
Interaction with my friends 

What’s your hidden talent? 
I can juggle – 3 items at a time (even knives!) 

What’s your guilty pleasure?
I watch tons of random YouTube videos – drives my partner mad! 

What have been your favourite TV show during lockdown?
Apart from the YouTube videos – I have enjoyed Formula 1: Drive to Survive.
