Responsibilities can include:
- Work on a broad range of tax assignments across multiple tax heads including international tax, global mobility and VAT.
- Analyse client data using different tools and techniques, as well as research and resolve tax technical issues arising in the tax compliance process.
- Liaise closely and build effective working relationships with clients and internal staff in other departments.
- Ensure the Managers/Directors/Partners are appropriately briefed at all times to include any issues arising on assignments being undertaken.
- Deliver tax assignments to a high standard of quality, ensuring conformance with compliance and policies, addressing key risks effectively.
Knowledge and skills:
- Interested in becoming a qualified accountant and pursuing a career in tax.
- Being on track to achieve a minimum 2.1 final grade on undergraduate degree.
- Right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
- Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills, as well as attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
