Catherine received a BSc in Management from TU Dublin in 2006, before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2010 and becoming a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland in 2021. She obtained a Diploma in Forensic Accounting and Investigation in 2023.
After qualifying, Catherine spent time in industry, working in the transport and banking sectors. Her banking experience led her to the Department of Finance where she spent three years prior to joining Crowe in 2015.
Her time as a civil servant has given her valuable insight into the oversight that all public-sector spending receives; in particular, the importance of being able to accurately measure a project’s success and the vital role that project governance and oversight play in ensuring value for money.
Catherine brings a wealth of experience to her role. She has worked on a wide variety of projects across the public and not-for-profit sectors. She has particular experience in conducting extensive reviews of clients’ operational processes and how these impact their service delivery. She has also undertaken a number of investigations on behalf of clients, Government Departments and oversight organisations.
She prides herself on presenting her findings and analysis accompanied by clear, realistic, and tailored recommendations for her clients.
In her spare time, Catherine likes to bake for her co-workers and is an avid sports fan.
