Grayson is a partner in the firm’s
tax department. A Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and an AITI Chartered Tax Adviser, Grayson has over 18 years’ professional experience. Grayson provides tax planning and consultancy services to a wide range of individuals and corporate clients operating in Ireland and internationally. In addition, he routinely provides personal tax planning for owners and shareholders including succession planning.
Grayson also leads our VAT practice and provides VAT advice to clients in the commercial and not-for-profit sectors. His specialisms include, VAT advice on property transactions, recoverability, international supplies of goods and services and devising strategies to assist in reducing VAT liabilities, and increasing costs efficiencies, especially for clients without full recovery rates.
Grayson regularly provides technical training sessions to members of the business community together with fellow members of his profession.
Owner-managed businesses
As a key business advisor to owner-managers, he has developed an extensive knowledge of all taxes and their impact on commercial decisions. In particular, he has considerable experience in succession planning and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals.
Grayson’s other areas of expertise include revenue audits, corporate tax planning, structuring domestic and international transactions and corporate reorganisations.
Leisure industry
Grayson is also a Qualified Financial Advisor and provides taxation planning and financial advice to many clients in the leisure industry including hoteliers, entertainers and media personalities.
In his spare time, Grayson enjoys reading, travel and keeping up to date with current affairs. As a former musician he loves music and enjoy going to concerts of all types as well as spending time catching up with childhood friends over dinner.
