Chris is a Partner in the firm’s audit department with over 15 years’ commercial experience both within Ireland and internationally. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, Chris manages a wide variety of client services across several sectors and works closely with clients in the hospitality, retail, engineering, energy and media sectors. He also has substantial experience in group audits and audits of financial statements prepared under IFRS.
Chris has extensive experience in property and business financing transactions, having worked with several clients on bank and loan facilitation, refinancing of existing facilities and structuring of transactions. He also advises on business valuations, joint ventures, and commercial and contractual arrangements and works closely with legal and other advisors in transactional support.
Audit and Accountancy
Since joining the firm in 2004, Chris has practised in the Audit department, with additional responsibility for general business advisory services to his portfolio of clients.
Once I started in my first full-time job (with McKeague Morgan in Belfast) I quickly understood that accountancy was not really about numbers, it was about advising clients.
