Brian is a partner in the Audit department but also has expertise in the tax and corporate finance areas dealing with business acquisitions and disposals and tax planning for family companies. He joined the firm, along with his team, in January 2017, from Phelan Prescott + Co.
A fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, Brian provides audit, accountancy, tax and general business advisory services to a diverse portfolio of domestic and international corporate and private clients.
Brian joined Phelan Prescott + Co in 1982 and became a partner in 1994. Among other engagements he currently serves as a non-executive director of Applegreen plc and was a founding director of the very successful Little Museum of Dublin.
Brian enjoys a strong personal engagement with his clients, developing a deep understanding of their needs. He is proactive in developing innovative solutions, working closely with is clients to resolve issues as they arise.
His experience covers retail and manufacturing sectors, property investment, technology, legal, insurance and other services.
Outside of work he is a keen sailor, hill walker and skier and a vice chair of hurling in Kilmacud Crokes GAA. He is father to four children and lives with his family in Blackrock, Co Dublin.
My involvement in the establishment of The Little Museum of Dublin with Trevor White and Simon O’Connor is a moment of pride which continues to reward.
