Growth: a lever of enhanced customer service!
It all began in 1981 in Oyonnax (France) with the “Basic” office.
Basic endeavored to anticipate the developing needs of the consulting trades. The office’s strategy was aimed at widening its geographical footprint and enhancing the diversity of its range of skills. Basic created an office in Lyon, focusing on the basic trades such as chartered accounting, corporate activities and auditing, also in addition to consultancy missions. They achieved one success after another.In 1999, Basic took over the Galet Oldra office in Annecy (ca. 25 people, chartered accounting and audit) and the Sogec Veillerot office in Cluses (ca. 110 people, chartered accounting and audit) and these offices constituted the Avvens group.
The group developed into a genuine success story with a dedicated and committed workforce of more than 170 people who provide customers with a broad range of skills.
Changes in shareholding…
In its objective to refocus on the Rhône-Alpsregion while preparing for the retirement of its main founding partners, Avvens transferred the Sogec Veillerot group in 2008. These shareholding changes opened opportunities for new young partners to join in and contribute their energy and motivation to perpetuate the Avvens concept.

- 2008: Avvens took over the Dagnaud Vitrolles firm in Saint-Etienne, thereby reinforcing its position in the Rhône-Alpes market. In 2011, Alexandre Dagnaud, a new Avvens group partner, became the president of this chartered accounting unit.
- 2010: Pascal Blandin became the president of the group. To maintain the collegial spirit of governance, the Steering Committee was created and its monthly meetings aimed at major decision-making.
- 2011: To become a major player in the Oyonnax area, Avvens took over the Verdet Tomasini chartered accounting and audit firm and Mr. Clément Tomasini joined the group.
- 2012: The group enhanced its development and foothold in the Lyon area by taking over the chartered accounting offices of Messrs. Le Corno and Granados.
- 2013: Avvens acquired the chartered accounting and audit firm, Lenoir, and inaugurated the opening of new Parisian offices.
- 2016: In order to strengthen its Parisian foothold, Avvens associated with the A4 Group.
- 2021: The group sold Oyonnax, Charancieu and Bellegarde offices.
