Changes in salary already in January 2019

Many changes have taken place in the payroll area since January 2019.

These include, for example, an increase in the rebate thresholds used in the calculation of wage rates for temporary incapacity for work, an increase in the threshold for the application of a solidary tax increase, an increase in the monthly and guaranteed wages and hence the minimum premium for health insurance. There was an increase in the amount of non-deductible wage deductions (thus decreasing the wage bill) and there was an increase in the decisive amount for employee sickness insurance (from CZK 2,500 to CZK 3,000).
