Jerry Cukier Elected as Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario
TORONTO, ON – October 24, 2016 – Jerry Cukier, Managing Partner at Crowe Soberman LLP, has been elected as a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario, earning the esteemed FCPA, FCA designation. The Council of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario) elects members as Fellows, to formally recognize those who have rendered exceptional services to the profession, whose achievements in their careers and/or whose contributions in the community have earned them distinction and brought honour to the profession.

Jerry Cukier is the third member of Crowe Soberman LLP to be awarded the FCPA designation, along with Hy Isenbaum and Irving Rosen. Jerry attributes much of his success today to his time at Crowe Soberman and has grown under the mentorship of some the firm’s senior partners. As Managing Partner of the firm, Jerry is responsible for firm governance and strategic thinking. He has also served as member of the firm’s Management Committee since 1997.
Jerry’s background includes over 30 years of serving a vast range of clients, including those in privately-held businesses; manufacturing, wholesale and distribution; not-for-profit and charities; professionals; as well as real estate and construction. He has performed audits for public companies and has assisted in taking private companies public. Jerry provides expertise in tax planning, succession planning, corporate financing and estates.
As an active supporter of the community, Jerry serves as a member of the Finance & Investment Committee of the Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation. Jerry is also a current member of the Finance Committee for the Jewish Family & Child Services of Greater Toronto and serves as the Secretary of the Board of Directors.
