Ruthie Simpson is a Partner in the Audit & Advisory Group at Crowe Soberman and has over 18 years experience as a trusted business advisor, working exclusively with privately owned businesses. Prior to joining Crowe Soberman, Ruthie worked at one of the largest professional services firms and brings with her exceptional technical knowledge and a breadth of experience.

Ruthie provides assurance, tax, and advisory support in a variety of industry sectors including real estate and hospitality, manufacturing, wholesale and distribution, retail and consumer products, and not-for-profit. She routinely works with clients through complex accounting and tax issues including acquisitions, estate planning and the adoption of new accounting standards.

Ruthie is known for working collaboratively with her clients and brings a deadline-oriented, hands-on approach to her work. She is passionate about working with entrepreneurs and is a strong advocate and mentor to women in the workplace.

Outside of the office, Ruthie spends her time with her husband and 3 children. She is the treasurer of a not-for-profit summer camp and is actively involved in planning and supporting a variety of charitable organizations and their events, including Kayla’s Children’s Centre and the Canadian Cancer Society.
