Ananth is a Partner in the Tax Group at Crowe Soberman. He first joined the firm as a tax co-op in 2015 and started full-time as a tax specialist in 2016.
Ananth has extensive experience in compliance matters related to personal tax and corporate tax. He provides consulting on tax residency matters for high-net-worth individuals. He also provides consulting on the taxation of non-residents in Canada.
He enjoys assisting clients on accounting and tax matters because he can work directly with them to resolve complex issues. Some of his clients include high net worth individuals, athletes, privately-held businesses, and non-resident entities doing business in Canada.
Ananth published an article for the Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto entitled "Donation of Private Company Shares". Ananth is also a co-writer of Crowe Soberman’s article "Inter-corporate Dividends: Are They Still Tax-Free?" and "What Has Changed with Inter-Corporate Dividends."
In 2021, Ananth co-published an article for Crowe Soberman titled “Buying or Selling a Business?” which overviews some of the key tax elections to consider when buying or selling a business.
