As the Director of Quality at Crowe MacKay, Candace supports a strong, ethical culture of quality assurance. She has expert level knowledge and serves as a technical resource for IFRS, ASPE and NFPO standards, as well as audit and other assurance standards including the analysis and application of CPABC's (and other provinces) code of professional conduct. Candace demonstrates leadership and management abilities including the scheduling and administration of short and long-term assurance engagements on both an individual project and office basis. She is involved in the management of professional development on both an individual and office basis including those articling through CPA's PEP program (with experience as a CPA PEP mentor) and working with experienced professionals. Candace works with small to medium sized businesses to balance financial reporting requirements with practical, needs-driven options, that work with a business’s resources and constraints. In addition to working with external clients, Candace is involved in Crowe MacKay’s system of quality control including the performance of quality controls reviews, monitoring and assessment, and application of internal controls.
