Matthew Westphalen

Matthew Westphalen, CPA, CA started working at Crowe BGK in 2010. He brought to the firm a considerable amount of experience from his previous work as acting controller at Allen Vanguard, plus his stints as senior auditor at the Big Four firms. His career has been varied, as he specialized in assurance and advisory services for his clients. He also handles income tax planning and compliance, business accounting and consulting, financial reporting, and internal control and policy writing. Matthew has also volunteered at the Crowe BGK Income Tax Clinic, and in his spare time he is the Treasurer of both his sons’ hockey team and of Open Doors For Lanark County Children & Youth.
