Mathieu Ouellette

Mathieu Ouellette, L.L.M. Tax, CPA Auditor joined Crowe BGK in 2006. Mathieu is a specialist in international taxation issues, including domestic and cross-border transactions and reorganizations. On multiple occasions he has successfully guided clients in various industries in the best practices to set up corporate structures in Canada and abroad which minimize client risk and tax liability. Since joining Crowe BGK, he has developed expertise and foreign tax contacts in the U.S., Europe and Latin America to assist in handling corporate and business tax consulting, corporate reorganizations, and tax due diligence mandates.

Mathieu has published articles on international tax matters in the Canadian Tax Journal. He has also contributed to the Crowe BGK firm newsletter, and he regularly presents on Canadian and cross-border tax matters to the firm and to external organizations.

Mathieu has experience in various industries such as manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, real estate, construction, professional services and technology and others.
