Ingrid McDonald

Ingrid McDonald, CPA, CA has over 21 years of experience solving problems and managing change, people and processes by integrating technical knowledge with strategic thinking and effective communication skills. Most recently, Ingrid was the Associate Director at the Accounting Standards Board of Canada, where she supported development and application of IFRS Standards and standards for private enterprises and not-for-profit organizations.

In prior roles with PwC she developed and directed the training strategy for data auditing, digital fluency and a new audit tool, as well as streamlined consultation and review processes by facilitating workshops with audit teams. She also managed financial statement audits of public and private companies, specializing in the Financial Services, Hospitality and Communications industries and listings on the TSX, NYSE and JSE. In addition, she trained staff, managers and partner groups in and oversaw audits of the adoption and implementation of IFRS Standards in Canada.

In her role with the Professional Practice Group, she concentrates quality management, implementation of new standards, efficiencies within our audit practice, professional development and is an integral part of some complex assurance mandates.
