The ICSI Middle East, (DIFC) NPIO was inaugurated on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) with great enthusiasm. The Inaugural Ceremony was graced by H.E. Mr. Vipul, Consul General of India, Dubai, Mr. Manoj Pandey, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), Government of India and Mr. Nick Nadal, Vice-President, Hawkamah Institute for Corporate Governance.
The inaugural ceremony was followed by a Panel discussion on “Transforming Corporate Governance and Creating Professional Avenues” wherein Mr. Saad Maniar, Senior Partner, Crowe Mak Limited, shared his views as a panelist. CS Hitender Mehta, Chairman, International Affairs Committee, ICSI, moderated the Panel discussion.
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is a premier national professional body constituted under the Company Secretaries Act, 1980 for developing and regulating the profession of Company Secretaries in India. The ICSI functions under the jurisdiction of Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. It has over 56,000 members and about 3,00,000 students on its roll.
Crowe Mak – DIFC team led by Mr. Saad Maniar, Senior Partner and CS Bhawna Srivastava, Senior Consultant under the expert guidance of Mr. Narasimha Das, Associate Partner, played a significant role in establishing the First Overseas Centre of ICSI as Non-profit Incorporated Organisation (NPIO).
