Networking for Re-Insurance, Captives, Service Providers and Investors in Legacy, Discontinued Operations and Run-Off
The Gulf region is one of the world's most vibrant and important insurance and reinsurance marketplaces. Regulation mainly follows international standards; nevertheless local specifics need to be considered, especially when dealing with sensitive areas like 'run-off' and 'legacy'.
The UAE Run-Off FORUM offers reinsurers, run-off managers, insurers, captive managers, investment companies, regulators and selected service providers a platform to discuss Legacy, M&A and Investment Solutions and challenges arising from regulation, risk management and governance trends.
This year's event will take place Tuesday, November 7th 2017 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, DIFC, Gate Village, Dubai (UAE). The FORUM will focus on specifics of the region in Compliance, Governance and Regulation related to run off entities/portfolios. Besides interesting business cases and practitioners presentations, there will be enough time for networking. The FORUM will start at 10 am and will be concluded by a 'traditional' Cocktail Reception at 4pm.
