CROWE UAE (Abu Dhabi) was the Silver Sponsor at the 34th Annual International Seminar held by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Abu Dhabi (ICAI Abu Dhabi Chapter) on the 4th and 5th of February 2023.
After the opening speech by CA John George, the ICAI Abu Dhabi Chapter Chairman, The event was inaugurated by H.E. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance & Coexistence, U.A.E., H.E. Younis Haji Al Khoori, Undersecretary, Ministry of Finance, H.E. Abdulaziz Alnuami, Undersecretary Asst., Commercial affairs regulatory sector, MOE, UAE.
The event was also graced by H.E. Sanjay Sudhir, Ambassador of India to the U.A.E. and Mr. A. Amarnath, Deputy chief of Mission – Embassy of India to UAE. There was a keynote speech Mr. Yusuff Ali, Chairman and MD of Lulu Group International and other leading dignitaries included Dr Azad Moopen, Founder Chairman and MD, Aster DM Healthcare and Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, Chairman, Burjeel Holdings etc. There was also leading participation from ICAI India Leadership team which included CA (Dr.) Debashis Mitra, President, CA Aniket Sunil Talati, Vice President and Mr. Charanjot Singh Nanda, Central Council Member. They also visited our booth and held extensive discussions with our leadership team which included CA Nimish Makwana, CA Umesh Narayanappa and CA Vivek Batra.
The event also showcased many informative technical sessions by C.A Aman Gupta, Co-founder and CMO of Boat Lifestyle (Second largest wearables company in the world) , and Ms. Shradha Sharma, Founder and CEO at YourStory Media, followed by inspirational sessions by Mr. Chetan Bhagat (Top Selling Indian Author), and Mr. Ashneer Grover, Co-Founder of BharatPe (Shark Tank India Investor). They were many other leading speakers, international cricketers who also participated during this event.
The two-day seminar concluded with a Live Musical Concert by Kanika Kapoor and a Stand-Up Comedy session by Mr. Jayvijay Sachan. Overall, it was an excellent opportunity to network and participate in a range of informative and entertaining sessions.
