Mario DeLuca is a partner in the tax group at Crowe. He has more than 25 years of experience providing tax compliance, consulting, and strategic advice on business growth and profitability while helping an array of government contracting clients optimize their tax burden throughout their life cycle.
During his career, he has a held a variety of leadership roles in Big Four, national, and regional firms. He has proactively advised his clients and their owners on many tax matters including entity structuring and classification as well as buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions. Mario also has been serving as an adjunct professor in the graduate tax program at American University since 2005.
Mario has co-authored several articles published in the Journal of Taxation, including "S-corporations and ESOP Shareholders: New Rules Can Create the Perfect Match" and "Opportunity Knocks for Taxable REIT Subsidiaries (TRS)." He has also co-authored "Tax Workshop" in The Journal of Real Estate Taxation.
